Well it’s been almost three years since I walked the Camino-Frances and the Camino Finisterre in 2022, and here I am again about to take on the Camino-Portugues. And, because I have the time and dig the thought of almost walking the length of a country, I’ll be walking the “full” 630km version. This route starts in Lisbon, Portugal (in the south) and heads north, through the centre of the country, until you arrive in Porto, Portugal (370km). From there one can either continue on a Central route through to Santiago de Compostela (244km) or take the slightly longer Coastal route (274km). As of this writing I still haven’t decided which I’ll take, but as always, it might just come down to time and circumstance to help me decide in the moment. So for now at least, you can check out my “planned” Walking Stages from Lisbon to Porto with the caveat once again that plans are subject to change on the fly.
