About to board the plane to Paris but I wasn’t even sure I’d get this far earlier.
Airline rang me while I was on the train to SYD airport that the flight will be leaving 1hr 10min earlier than they’d previously advised. So after checking bag and taking forever getting through immigration and my cavity search it was already 45min past the new boarding time. I was sure it had gone… but no, thankfully they were waiting for all the other people they’d stuffed around.
So here we are… another gate change for the next flight which I only became aware of because a bunch of non- English speaking travellers rose and vanished en-masse. Sure enough a check of the board and it confirmed the new gate is 20 gates away.
I’m already over the anxiety caused from relying on public transportation timings, just get me on the Camino already where I can put one foot in front of the other, when I want, and go from A to B in peace. Ha ha
