I won’t bang on about these Heavyweight Outer Hiking socks too much as this is the second pair I’ve bought and I rabbited on about them enough in this post.
What I will say though, is I’ve now had time to trial these on a few training walks and I’m pretty happy with the quality and comfort of the Bridgedale Crew Socks (hence this additional purchase).
I’m still undecided about what combination I will take with me. Either two mid pairs and one heavy pair OR two heavy pairs and one mid pair. Perhaps depending on available pack space, I may even just take two pairs of each, especially given my soggy sock drama mentioned in my last training blog entry where more spare dry socks might be a welcomed addition.
