In today’s technological age, if you’re anything like me, you probably have one or more Micro SD cards laying around the house already.
With my intent to take my new GoPro Hero 10 Black on the trail with me in order to record and document the journey somehow, I need a decent amount of storage space to get me through 48 days of travel.
Additionally, due to the high performance specs of the Hero 10, such as its ability to record 5.3K(60Hz)/4K(120Hz) video and take 23MP photos, the card needs to have a fast Read/Write speed to keep up. Hence the purchase of the Sandisk Extreme Pro.
So why not just purchase a single 256Gb (for less $$)? Well I’m thinking from a redundancy point of view it’s better to have two cards than one single point of failure. Incidently, although I probably won’t need the SD Adaptors for their intended function, I think I’ll take them anyway to use as a holders. That way I’m less likely to lose or misplace the fiddly little micro SD cards and they’ll be better protected from incidental damage.
